My work is inspired by traditional Pictish and Celtic images, and pivotal moments in Celtic history. I carve my original sculpture in gypsum then cast in cement fondue using a traditional 18th century process. This all-natural medium creates fine, delicate detail. Each piece is distinctively marbled, created by mineral colouring, and is enhanced by using the stone polishing technique of hand waxing and bristle buffing. Included with the work is information on the historic significance of the image. The work ranges in size from 3" tiles ($10) to 5" designs ($15 - $25) through to 7" diameter plaques ($45) and 16" wall pieces ($85 - $95). Other pieces are available within those price ranges and all rates include HST.
